Surf Side Cottages began as a cottage colony in the 1940s and has welcomed generations of families and friends ever since. Just a short walk from resident-only Lecount Hollow Beach, the mid-century modern cottages are perfect for a family getaway or for groups who want to stay in separate cottages while vacationing together. Returning to the same week each summer has become a cherished tradition for many.

Surf Side #3 offers the wonderful screened porch that many of the cottages are known for, set up a set of stairs to truly catch the refreshing summer breezes. It’s a lovely spot to start the morning with coffee, settle in with a good book, or simply enjoy the sounds of summer. This three-bedroom cottage is special in other ways, too. The first floor features a comfortable bedroom and a lovely updated kitchen, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your time at the cottage. Up a full set of stairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms—a cozy room with two single beds and a spacious primary bedroom with a king-size bed and its own private balcony.

This cottage has retained the traditional knotty pine of the Surf Side cottages, the Wellfleet-in-the-summer-back-in-the-day when life was a little simpler, easier. There’s a wonderful sense of nostalgia here, while the thoughtful updates provide the comforts you want for a relaxing vacation. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened porch, relax on the balcony in the evening, and soak up the easygoing atmosphere of this special Cape Cod cottage colony. It’s a comfortable place to slow down, enjoy the summer, and experience the charm of a classic Wellfleet beach cottage.
