A house we have rented in downtown Wellfleet for many years was unavailable this summer. Everyone agreed that the house on Kerouach filled so many needs -- it fit all 8 of us comfortably, had great common spaces (indoors and out), and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was a concern for us -- we weren't used to having to cross Route 6 every time we went running or walking to town) but it was close enough to all the things we like to do in Wellfleet that we kept up our tradition of almost never driving to ponds, beaches, and the bay. It would have been nice to have a third half-bathroom, but we managed the small inconveniences that every house has. The week turned out to be a perfect vacation.

We have been coming to this home with another family for many years but took the last few years off. What a pleasant surprise to find that not much has changed in a good way. We love the location and the proximity to Newcombe Hollow Beach and all of our favorite places.Thank you!

It smelled clean when we opened the door. **** & span & sparkly, it is a lovely home with plenty of room to spread out & find a bit of personal peace & inviting spaces to gather. The house is well-maintained; everything worked; no sticking locks or holes in screens. The realtor is professional, friendly & attentive & a pleasure to work with. We definitely had our best year ever on Kerouach Rd.

Great for a big family

Two of my adult children, their partners, their children, and I spent a week in this large contemporary home in Wellfleet. We had a wonderful time. Large living room, well equipped kitchen, tons of games and puzzles, big deck with a screened in area. The only negative is that the house has neither central nor room air conditioning, and we were there during a HOT week in August.

The house is generally well-maintained but we noticed that the umbrella on the deck is broken - we could not close it. This should be checked.

95 Kerouach, my home away from home

Always love my stay at 95. Coming at the end of the season, there were a few signs of wear and tear. Corkscrew was broken, no dish towels, the plastic dish rack was gone, and the sauce pans and tops were either mismatched or have gotten old. I continue to hope that one day the owners will put in a screen door on the upstairs porch so it can be kept open with no bugs flying in. But otherwise, love the property!
