This large, contemporary home located on Bound Brook Island offers privacy, beautiful water views and great sunsets over Cape Cod Bay from the deck. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, the property accommodates 10 comfortably. The first floor offers two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and one with two twin sized beds, while the second floor offers three bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a king, and the third with two twins. Amenities include a screened porch, satellite TV, washer/dryer and plenty of room to stretch out with the 2440 sq. ft of living space. Walk out of the house and down the stairs to a nice sandy beach and rinse off in the unenclosed outdoor shower afterwards. Internet not provided . Bring your family dog for an added $250 per dog per week fee. **PLEASE NOTE: Only 4 cars allowed. One to be parked in the garage the other three parked in front of it. Do not block access to house on right. ***NOTE: Road to house is a long, dirt road for a couple miles. One lane traffic. SUV or higher clearance car recommended. Please be aware that road access to the home may be temporarily limited due to storm surge or weather conditions. We recommend checking local updates and planning accordingly.*** 3 night minimums available in off season with an added cleaning fee. Save the cleaning fee by booking 7 or more consecutive nights. My family and I had a wonderful time yet again. The closeness to nature and the beauty of the surroundings left us loving our time at the house. There were several improvements over the year that made our stay comfortable. The new floor on the second floor was a problem though. I kept tripping on the several floor buckles leading to two bedrooms. I am sure, though, this will be fixed come the end of the season as the owners have been attentive to the care of the property in the past.

Our third time staying at this property. We had a wonderful time - beautiful sunsets and beach was great. Management company was responsive to a few minor issues - the info said 1 of the rooms had a queen bed and it was now a king bed so we brought the wrong size sheets. They promptly sent over a set of king sheets. Also the house had no broom so they brought over a broom for us. The only other issue we had was sometimes the water pressure would be very low and showers would be difficult to take but the problem seemed to correct itself with time. Suggest they have a look at that. Otherwise our week was great and we would certianly come back next year.

Our vacation experience was absolutely fantastic and we can’t wait to return! The ocean view and sunsets are spectacular. We loved the openness of the house and fit everyone comfortably. This rental was wonderful in every way. We enjoyed the bay, seals, sunsets, and walks on the beach daily. The house has a spectacular view and is only a stone staircase (a bit rugged) away from the sand. The only update needed on the rental property listed information is that the master is a King bed and not a queen.

The location is incredible. Very roomy and lots of light. The drive in to the property is a bit precarious, but worth it. The wifi situation was rough but we dealt with it. I found the house to be a bit dirty. The window sills, glass doors and curtains could use a cleaning. I wished there were more kitchen utensils to cook with. A sharp knife? The 9:30 check out is a lot to ask. 11 would be more reasonable. The location more than makes up for the mishaps.

We loved the location and scenic views of the Cape Cod Bay. Very few other properties in the area made the location even nicer. The sandy beach was great for lone walks. The porches where great places to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms spacious with plenty of room for us all to spread out throughout the house. Appliances all seemed to be in working order and we enjoyed many meals at the very long dining table.
Be sure to bring a personal hot spot with you to ensure internet connectivity. We did and the device worked perfectly for all of our personal devices. We even let one of the vacation neighbors tap into the device.
The walk down to the beach is more of a climb than a walk. Although there are cinder block stairs they would be a challenge for someone with any type of physical limitation. Once on the beach it is an easy walk to the water. Everyone loved exploring the weed line after high tide and relieving all sorts of items that washed up at high tide.
The garbage and recycling was picked up as scheduled.
Upon arrival we notified the agency that we found broken doors, door frame and window screens along with a circuit breaker being tripped, tv service disconnected, paint peeling from bathroom ceilings and several holes in walls throughout the property. A property manager did stop by to inspect the items we referred to and did reset the circuit breaker and helped to get the tv working. He did not return to repair any of the other items. During the stay we found dirty pots placed in amongst clean cooking pots and the grill was absolutely filthy along with the grill utensils. It took us quite some time to remove the extensive amount of built up grease etc on the grill in order to use it.
If this had been a resort I would have demanded a room change or transfer to another property.
We would stay here again if we could be reassured that the property had received the maintenance it needs and de

Very remote and time consuming to get in and out of the road but a beautiful location and house was wonderful. My husband and myself loved the remoteness my girls not so much.

Disgracefully run down and in need of of complete repair

This house absolute should not be occupied until top to bottom repairs are completed.

Paint is peeling, carpet is badly stained, cheap 'hardwood ' flooring has buckled and whole strips have popped up, sliding screen doors don't work. Dead mouse in the garage. The washing machine is so badly rusted that it turned everything ORANGE, ruining hundreds of dollars of clothing. The whole place looks like a frat house that's been used HARD

Hello Alexandra, As promised, we visited the property during the weekly changeover to address your remarks. Honestly, if it weren't for the small space between the floor boards visible at the foot of the stairs, the agent wondered if he were at the correct property!
We have contacted the owner about the flooring which will be attended to when the upstairs carpet is replaced with similar flooring. The inside of the washing machine was wiped down with a white cloth with no evidence of rust.
The home is professionally cleaned every week between guests and the agent was at the property when the cleaning crew arrived.
Most importantly, the first indication we have of your dissatisfaction with the property was on the day you left. We wish you had provided us with the opportunity to assist in making your stay better while you were here!
This property may not be for everyone because there is no internet or air conditioning. However, if you are looking for the perfect opportunity to unplug and immerse yourself in the euphoric tranquility of quintessential Cape Cod, then this property is for you.
A week at 387 Bound Brook Way in Wellfleet is transformative for many and the reason they come back year after year.

We had a fantastic stay at this Wellfleet property.
The views and beach were fantastic! Minor cleanliness issues (cobwebs screened in porch, furniture). The steps going down to the beach were a little tricky. Overall, Superb!
