Surf Side Cottages began as a cottage colony in the 1940s and has welcomed generations of families and friends ever since. Just a short walk from resident-only Lecount Hollow Beach, the mid-century modern cottages are perfect for a family getaway or for groups who want to stay in separate cottages while vacationing together. Returning to the same week each summer has become a cherished tradition for many.

Ocean View captures the relaxed, traditional feel of a classic Wellfleet cottage, with all the simple pleasures that make a stay at Surf Side so special. Perched on the ocean side of the colony and just steps from beautiful Lecount Hollow Beach, this cozy cottage makes it easy to embrace the laid-back rhythm of life by the sea.

The screened porch is the perfect place to kick off your sandy shoes, settle in with a cool drink, and enjoy the coastal breeze. Inside, the traditional knotty pine walls bring warmth and character, reminding you of an easier, earlier time. And when it’s time to head outside, the expansive rooftop deck offers a wonderful place to gather, relax, and take in the evening.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the deck, fire up the grill for your favorite summer foods, and dine outside among the pines. Here, cottage life is cozy, comfortable, and easy—just the way a Cape Cod vacation should be.

Ocean View also offers a convenient work desk and extra kitchen counter space, making it easy to settle in whether you’re spending the day at the beach or mixing a little work into your getaway.

Come slow down, breathe in the ocean air, and experience the simple magic of cottage life at Surf Side. At Ocean View, the beach is close, the evenings are easy, and summer is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace.
