This is a large 6 bedroom, 3 bath 1972 contemporary style, 3 level "beach house" located at the end of a short sand road in the Chequessett Neck area of Wellfleet. This home was recently outfitted with air conditioning! A spiral stairway leads through the 3 levels along with entry doors on the first and second levels. On the BOTTOM LEVEL there is a large family room, one bedroom with 2 double beds, a full bath with a tub off the hallway, and a separate laundry room. On the SECOND OR MID LEVEL there is an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and main living areas with access to the deck. On this level there are also two bedrooms both with queen beds along with a full bath with a tub between these bedrooms. The THIRD OR UPPER LEVEL has 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other two bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each room, and a bath with shower off the hallway. There is also a small sitting room/loft on this level. In 2009, new floors were put down on the first and mid levels and all bathrooms were updated. Powers Landing, a sandy bayside beach, is a short distance from the house as is the Chequessett Yacht Club and Golf Course. It is about a 5 minute drive to Wellfleet Center and 10 minutes to the ponds and ocean beaches. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available at additional cost upon request.

This was a tough week for us. The beds provided did not match the description (3 queens were advertised, when it the house had 2 queens), One of the queens was not usable and the mattress had to be replaced, the house was not well-cleaned upon arrival, green plastic covered the porch railing and had disintegrated into pieces along the entrance to the house, the branches on trees were overgrown - causing early morning activity from squirrels on the roof, etc... The management company sent the cleaners back to the house and arranged for the mattress to be replaced on our 3rd day - it would have been good if they had noticed that the beds were incorrectly represented on the house description and arranged for some kind of compensation.
