The grand opening from the entry way flows into the large kitchen featuring a stainless gas stove with accompanying hood. Adjacent to the kitchen lies a dining room with a beautiful wood table with seating for 6, a half bathroom, the living room with 55" TV, and a den with a 33" TV and twin day bed for additional sleeping quarters or a simple sitting room. On the second floor you will find two primary bedrooms each with queen beds and en suite bathrooms with walk in showers. New for 2022, DUCTLESS AC! There is a unit in the living space, one in each of the downstairs bedrooms, and one in each upstairs bedroom each offering remote controls. There is plenty of parking in the paved driveway. I am appalled at how BH has treated us! How does your manager not return our call? We had to vacate the property due to the flying squirrels in the ceilings and walls keeping us up at night and going all day. We sent you a video of what was going on. There are Brillo pads stuck up in the exhaust fan in the kitchen to keep them from flying out. We were told from Paula that we would hear back from the manager and the owner of the property and are still waiting to get compensated for the five nights we were not there. I was told this was getting escalated and you would handle it. If we do not hear back from BH or the owner soon regarding our compensation this will be publicized all over and you will hear from our attorney. Shame on you!!!!!!!!! Shame on Dave M!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are correct as your calls were escalated to management and the owner. We did return your messages and our last call to you in the system shows 9:57am on 7/1 as it was dialed out from David to a Connecticut area code. Within the signed agreement, there is a section that states you and the landlord agree to make a good faith effort to remedy fixable problems in a timely fashion. While we were saddened to read your 10:16am Monday email indicating you have vacated the property, we did not want to cancel the vendor visits the following day. Neither the pest control or wildlife vendor discovered any squirrel activity in the house while using equipment such as UV lights and infrared cameras. Furthermore, the pest control vendor has been treating the property for months and their report does not support the claim making it uninhabitable.
While this appears to not be something anyone would want to experience, we feel that we made a good faith effort to remedy the issue with a reasonable solution and also would have reimbursed you the time lost until the vendor arrived.

We had a fabulous time on our Cape Cod vacation and this rental was perfect for our three generation gathering. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location was optimal for our outings. The pool and deck were lovely and we so enjoyed the privacy of that area behind the house.

As with other dog-friendly homes, this one shows wear! But it was clean and spacious for our family and the dog. Glad to have the W/D and the pool for the older grandkids with us! Puzzled that there were no towel bars in the upstairs bathrooms.... Not even hooks on the doors! SFM
