We had a great week! Our house in Dennis Port was perfect!

We had a fantastic week. The house is adorable and the yard is beautiful! We loved the area and Glendon Road Beach being so close. We did come up with a few minor suggestions, but overall enjoyed our stay. We did find teeny tiny ants around the kitchen sink, but saw ant traps so figured that the issue was being addressed. We found a lack of lighting especially in the living room for reading and near the washer and dryer. We absolutely loved the patio and ate out there most of the time. The outdoor shower was great but we did notice that water was leaking outside the house from the indoor shower when it was in use. Lastly, though the living room furniture is lovely and fits the decor, it is not terribly comfortable. A small sectional would work perfectly. We found the house very clean and very charming.

Apprécions l'état de la cuisine rénovée avec cuisinière au gaz mais une mise en garde pour la sécurité d'incendie. les contrôles sur la cuisinière au niveau des enfants et facilement tournées par une maladresse ou action près de la cuisinière ce qui fait émettre du gaz qui peut faire une catastrophe. Pas d'extincteur visible non plus. Éclairage médiocre dans le salon, les chambres car pas de plafonnier mais uniquement une petite lampe de table dans chacune de ces pièces. Pas de lumière au-dessus de la table à manger. Sombre au-dessus de la laveuse sécheuse. Débarras dans certaines armoires, laissant moins d'espace pour nos objets. Et ramassage des ordures le samedi matin à 7h am et règlements de ne pas laisser les ordures après notre départ nous oblige à quitter le samedi avant 7 h ou de ne pas prendre de petit-déjeuner avant le départ. Les ordures devraient être ramassées après 9h30 le samedi. Pas beaucoup d'espace entre les lits superposés et fils d'araignées au-dessus du plus haut. Difficulté à ouvrir et fermer les stores.

The location was great and the house was beautiful. A perfect stay.

The house was cute, cozy, clean. It was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen is small for 2 to cook in but we made it work. The beach was in walking distance that was a plus. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was quite. We went to just relax and for that everything was perfect. I would definately rent this house again.

I can’t recommend the cottage

Very nice. From ease of check-in to assistance on missing gas for the outdoor grill. House was comfortable, clean, and had many updates - new kitchen, etc. Could use a new bed - very uncomfortable. Room for five, but we had two which was perfect for us. The second bedroom had a twin and bunk beds which would be good for young children but not teenagers. A short walk to the beach - less than 15 minutes. Great time to visit the Cape - mid-late September.

It was dark, old, not clean. There were bugs probably from the screens on the windows that were old and ripped. I was sleeping in one of the rooms and an earwig bug crawled on my hand while I was falling to sleep. It was dusty and had cobwebs everywhere. The bath room was too small. We tried to use the washer and dryer but it was in a small closet and there was no light near it to see what we were doing. It was a stressful vacation staying in this house.

The cottage overall was very cute. The renovations were done nicely in the kitchen and main family room. Our pros - Glendon St Beach is within walking distance (.6 miles) but not having a beach pass was a con. Other cottages come with a beach pass to park at local beaches. We did end up paying the $20 to park a few times just because we had so much stuff with a young kid. The cons were not major but this would be our list: 1) the bedroom closet smelled REALLY musty so we could not hang any of our clothes. 2) There was no dish rack, laundry detergent, or trash bags. If we had known, we would have brought some from home. We did bring linens as that was specified in the listing. 3) There were lots of spiders which made our daughter terrified. We ended up leaving a day early because she found a bunch if baby spiders on her wall and ceiling the night before we left and couldn't sleep.

Otherwise, we really enjoyed the location. We recommend the food at Doghouse which is so close you can walk for excelled fish sandwiches, specialty hotdogs, and tots. We also loved Joe's Pizza.

My husband and I stayed here for one week and had a pleasant stay. This small cottage was tinier than we expected but was clean and in a nice area. It met our needs for a full kitchen and washer and dryer but the main bedroom was a bit smaller than expected so the second room was handy for storing our belongings. We felt that the house could use some better lighting - some of the table lamps did not provide good light as the rooms did not have overhead lighting. The kitchen was great and we enjoyed the patio outside. We loved that it had an outdoor shower! A good choice for two people for a short stay!

The house was exactly what we wanted, the outdoor space was event better than the listing showed, there's a huge back yard that would be perfect for little kids to run around. Great location, lovely neighbors, can't say enough great things!
