Situated in the desirable private Pochet Association area of East Orleans, this spacious four bedroom Cape Cod home makes for a perfect place for your whole group to stay! At the end of the short dirt road (1/10th a mile from the house) is a foot bridge for private access to coveted Nauset Outer Beach! The open and spacious interior allows for your family to spread out and relax after a day spent at the beach. This home is a great choice for a group who wants to be in a quintessential Cape Cod neighborhood. There are ductless AC in every room and a full well equipped kitchen with new appliances to prepare meals. The first floor has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and the other with a queen and full bath with a tub. Second floor features two more additional guest rooms (both with king beds) with full bath with a tub. Enjoy this peaceful setting with lovely gardens and beautiful outdoor patio. Play a yard game in the private yard-perfect for enjoying dinner or cocktails outside. The enclosed outdoor shower is available for those who prefer to rinse off outdoors under a star filled sky! An evening bbq, some yard games, board games, and many comfortable areas to sit and connecting with friends and family make this home an ideal choice for your next Cape Cod getaway! Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available upon request at an additional cost.

Amazing Cape Gem with Spectacular Private Beach

Outstanding house in a perfect location! This home is great for families, grounds are meticulously landscaped, quick walk to the most spectacular private beach we’ve ever seen. We loved the different outdoor seating nooks around the home and loved the gorgeous hammock. This home is truly unique in close proximity to town. We still dream about the private beach and can’t wait to come back. Rent this house!

A TRUE GEM FOR A FAMILY VACATION

THE PERFECT VACATION HOME FOR FAMILIES.... The grounds are beautifully landscaped with hydrangeas in bloom and flowers everywhere. Rolling lawn and three fabulous patios with the most comfortable furniture to lay out and entertain and read a book. The house is perfectly situated a three minute walk to the most gorgeous private sandy beach and ocean. The beach is breathtaking and at night you can hear the ocean and get a wonderful breeze to sleep by.......There are so many places to hang out in this wonderful house. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to make big family dinners and lobster bakes and all the appliances are brand new which I liked... Also there is a huge grill on the patio by the kitchen to grill . We loved the coziness, and comfortableness of each of the sitting areas in the house, and eating at the farmhouse table surrounded by lots of glass in the kitchen was the perfect place to talk and by surrounded by the beautiful nature. All of the bedrooms provide privacy and brand new awesome mattresses, which we really appreciated. We can't say enough wonderful things about this property ...... Can't wait to come back again this coming summer.....

This property is in an amazing location - walking distance to a private ocean beach and in close proximity to the little shops in East Orleans. While the location is ideal, we found the house to be simple with limited amenities (e.g., AC only worked moderately well and not in all rooms) and the house was not clean upon our arrival. While the owner and real estate office were helpful and responsive in rectifying the issues re: cleanliness, keep in mind that this is a simple cape residence in a great location. If you're looking for an updated vacation home to enjoy, this one is not the one for you.

Nauset Beach offers limited access so to be able to freely utilize that beach directly from this home is incredible! We apologize the cleaning crew was running late and delayed the start to your vacation. We understand that must have been frustrating. Additionally, the failure of the AC in the 4th bedroom was certainly an inconvenience. Although it was serviced and operational by the end of your stay we know you were without it for a few days. Great house! 5-min walk to beach was best part...not having to deal w/ parking. Beautiful landscaping and outdoor patio/grill. Highly recommend.

The house at 170 Pocket Road was perfect for our family during the pandemic. Private access to the beautiful beach was fantastic. Its a short walk to the beach which was never crowded. The house has beautiful gardens and patios which we enjoyed often. The bedrooms are in two areas so there is a lot of privacy. Large clean bathrooms. A wonderfully stocked kitchen which we used often since we cooked at home every night. Highly recommend. We hope to return next year!
