Located in a peaceful neighborhood, this home offers easy access to the village. Just a mile and a half from town center, restaurants and shops are easy to get to and popular Mayo Beach is a short trip away. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. There are cathedral ceilings in the living area with sliders out onto the deck. The living room has a 50" flat screen TV. Outdoor furniture and a grill are provided and there is even an enclosed outdoor shower great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table seats 6. The bedrooms are good sized and feature a king (2 twins together) in the primary, a double in the second bedroom and 2 twins in the third bedroom. Mini splits have been installed in this house for your comfort. (Units located in each bedroom and the main living area) The lower level of the house offers a large game room with ping pong table as well as a separate media room with a large screen and projector. Other amenities of the rental are wifi access, washer and dryer. 3 night minimums available for an added cleaning fee. 7 nights or more include cleaning fee. We were very pleased with this rental! It's on a quiet street, but it's still not too far from the center of Wellfleet. The house was comfortable, clean, spacious, and wonderfully air-conditioned...which we really needed that week. Very nice, new appliances too! We were very happy staying here and would definitely come back!

Nice home with steep and rocky approach

We booked this home based on the nice photos, but were unaware of the steep and rocky downhill path from the parking area to the home itself. My mother walks with a cane, as she is older, and this was difficult for her every time we went in or out. Also, the home had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I cleaned some of it myself and then I spoke with the rental agent who sent a cleaning crew the next day. No credit to the bill was offered to us. In a case like this, I think it ought to have been.

Great house, very cmfortable. Owner needs to call in the Mosquito Squad as we were bitten many times just walking from house to car - daily occurence.

This property could use some TLC the deck has some rough and splintered areas,so going barefoot is not an option. The lower level is unusable due to mold and inadequate dehumidifier ,which was not emptied nor was it mentioned in the instructions/ welcome packet. The two bathrooms were poorly ventilated and had a lot of wear ,Overall maintenance has been long over due making opening and closing windows difficult . Some windows have open gaps that allow mosquitoes and brown spiders in constantly. By the end of the week I was taking allergy pills daily and using an inhaler due to the mold problem. It’s truely unfortunate that the property isn’t better cared for or maintained. I would not rent this home again despite the lovely location.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologies that your time on the Cape was anything less than perfect. This homeowner takes feedback seriously! Since this review the dehumidifier has been hard plumed and no longer requires emptying and the deck was painted in 2022. The windows in the home are crank out windows. As part of the Anderson crank out window design, there is a small gap to allow the arm to slip under the screen and push the window open. If this is ever encountered again, try a little squirt of bug spray on that area to deter mosquitoes!

It was perfect for an early summer getaway. The house was clean and exceeded my expectations. We spent a lot of time in the house, and the kitchen truly allowed us to come together and cook as a family. We were incredibly grateful for the A/C units in the bedrooms. Parking was a little rough if you have more than three vehicles but otherwise it was a great stay.

The biggest challenge to our vacation was the Cape Cod Oceanview Realty. the house was not cleaned up on our arrival - big problem given a pandemic. After several calls the best they could do was a cleaning the following day. No offer of hotel, no offer of a break on the first day cost. The cleaning crew arrived an hour late on a Sunday morning - they did a great job. No call from CCOR to make sure all was well. No contact all week from rental company. We called when we were leaving - they said they would get back to us - nothing. The house was nice - a few minor problems with lights etc. But the cleaning issue is TOTALLY the rental companies problem.
